Are all of your classes hot?
At this time, none of them are hot. I look forward to teaching hot yoga classes in studio again, once the COVID-19 pandemic is over.
Am I too old/inflexible to do yoga?
We all come to our practice with different abilities, degrees of flexibility and strength. I can help you to modify or adapt poses and your practice to any needs that you have. Perhaps you are recovering from an illness, surgery or injury. There are ways to practice in a healing, nurturing way.
What type of clothing should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothes that you can move in. You may want to dress in layers, so you can add or take away easily. Plan on going barefoot.
What kind of equipment do I need?
A yoga mat, a block or strap if you have one. Bring a small hand towel and water bottle.
How many times a week should I practice yoga?
This can vary from person to person, but three times a week is a nice starting point. You will build strength and flexibility, as well as reap the calming and stress relieving benefits more quickly.
